WWII Utica Fighting Trench Knife U.S.M8 B.M.C.O Victory Plastics Scabbard

Product Description

For your consideration is A Utica Parkerized Fighting Trench Knife With A Beckwith Manufacturing Company/Victory Plastics Scabbard in very good pre-owned condition. This trench knife features a parkerized finish and a narrow six washer stacked leather handle. The ring is hallmarked with a proof mark UTICA and the pommel is hall marked 137 S I, on the pommel. The M8 scabbard is comprised of a steel throat made by Beckwith Manufacturing Company (B.M.C.O) and a fiber glass sheath made by Victory Plastics. The throat is hall marked B 2 N And the scabbard is marked VP 43.

The blade shows loss of finish, scratches, leather handle is in good condition no cracks, the scabbard is cracked on the left side but shows an old repair, loss of paint and oxidation on the throats reverse.
