M1915 Haerens Arsenal Denmark Krag-Jorgensen Brown Leather Blued Steel Bayonet

For your consideration is an Antique 1924 M1915 Haerens Arsenal Denmark Krag-Jorgensen Brown Leather Blued Steel Bayonet in very good to excellent pre-owned condition. This model 1915 bayonet from the Haeren's Arsenal in Denmark is fitted for the model 1889 Krag-Jorgensen rifle and carbine. This variant of the popular bayonet comes in blued steel with a brown leather and blued steel scabbard. Original wooden grips, brass rivets and stud are also feature on this bayonet. The blade is excellent with it's original blued finish. Minor nicks on the center edge of the blade are minimal compared to it's excellent preservation. The handle is also very good with an original blued finish, some oxidation on the metal and very old nicks in the wood that have patina-ed over time. The press stud is in functioning condition with no issues. The scabbard is in overall good condition with the metal retaining some of it's original finish mixed with oxidation. The leather shows typical deterioration for it's age, however it has retained some of it's original brown finish. The end of the pommel is marked with the Danish crown and 24 indicating the manufacture date of 1924. Overall this bayonet presents well and would make the perfect addition to any collection.
