For your consideration is an Antique Patent 1874 Japanese Pattern By The Whiting Manufacturing Company Sterling Silver Serving Tablespoon in very good pre-owned condition. The spoon you will receive will show light to average surface wear and feature's the Whiting Manufacturing Company's 1874 Japanese Pattern crafted in fine sterling silver with the monogram 'E.R.' in cursive font on the backside of the handle. The Japanese pattern designed by Charles Osborne was a series of designs featuring Japan's native Paradise Flycatcher bird in different poses. This pose has the bird tilted to it's right (your left).
