A Series of 1935 F $1 Small Size Silver Certificate Fr#1615 (ZI Block) with signatures Priest/Anderson and Serial # Z63019278I graded Very Fine 25 with an annotation for "Gutter Fold Error" by PMG. This note displays an off white paper color with some light browning typical for the grade, light visible creases/folds, nice small gutter fold on the top right hand reverse side and excellent even margins. Silver certificates were a form of paper currency produced from 1878 - 1964 and were issued as a type of representative money. Initially made in response to the Fourth Coinage Act which placed the United States under the gold standard, the bills were meant to be redeemed for their face value in silver coin and later from June 1967 - June 1968 in raw silver bullion.
