For your consideration is an Antique 1880 Ivan Futikan .84 Fine Silver Embossed Case in very good pre-owned condition. This case features a raised embossed textured field and a 18mm high polished band located in the center of the case with a three dimensional cross cartouche for engraving ones name or initials and is crafted in fine .84 silver with a faded gold wash interior. This case bears four marks: the first is the makers mark И ф (I F) in a rectangle cartouche indicating it was made by Ivan Futikan, second is the assayers mark A . K (Andrey Kovalsky) with a dividing line and the year 1880 in a large square cartouche, third is the fineness mark 84 indicating the purity of silver, fourth is the City Mark Saint George and the Dragon in a cartouche this is the city arms of Moscow indicating it was manufactured the city of Moscow. This case exhibits average to moderate surface wear, small scratches, dings and a visible polished finish with an original patina.
