A circa. 100 - 96 B.C. Thrace, Byzantium AV Stater gold piece graded Very Fine (VF) Strike: 4/5, Surface: 2/5 by NGC Ancients with an annotation for ex-jewelry. This piece displays an original gold color with moderately abraded surfaces, excellent well-centered obverse strike with minimal open fields and reverse struck off to the left with full details.
