For your consideration is an Antique Art Nouveau Arts & Crafts 1920's .925 Sterling Silver Enamel Rose Quartz Egyptian Revival Scarab Beetle Intaglio Pendant Necklace in excellent pre-owned condition. Crafted during the Arts & Crafts period around the time King Tut's tomb was discovered in 1922 when Egyptianesque pieces rose in popularity, this beautifully crafted pendant/necklace combo features a center rose quartz piece crafted in the shape of a scarab beetle with an intaglio Egyptian hieroglyphic design on the reverse flanked by blue/green accented enamel work and set in fine sterling silver. The sterling silver open work design accentuates the details on the scarab beetle that forms it's legs. Pendant measures 56mm by 48.5mm Chain necklace measures 24.5 inches in length.
