An 1881 Carson City Mint (CC) Morgan Silver Dollar graded Mint State 67 (MS-67) by PCGS with a secure gold shield label. This piece displays an original vibrant luster with phenomenal obverse toning which progresses from light peach to tangerine orange, magenta, purple and finally blue, creamy/frosty white reverse and excellent, sharp details. VAM-2 is defined by the visible doubling of both 8's in the date. Further characteristics include a die scratch that appears between the olive branch and arrows feathers on the reverse and slight doubling of the upper leaves in the left and right wreaths, bottom inside of STATES OF AMERICA towards rim and tops of In God We Trust towards rim.
