For your consideration is a Victorian Belle Epoque 18k Gold Platinum Amethyst Rose Cut .65tcw Diamond Brooch in excellent pre-owned condition. This brooch by an unknown maker and retailed by M.S. Smith & Co. from Detroit, Michigan features a teardrop shaped faceted amethyst stone set in 18k yellow gold and topped with fine platinum. The brooch has additional seed pearls and rose cut diamonds. This brooch shows light surface wear, original finish, the threaded post is bent upwards but functions and no major cosmetic issues. This brooch will be accompanied with it's original wooden and silk lined interior box with the branding of M.S. Smith on the silk ribbon. The box is missing the lock and does not close fully.
