An 1840 (Philadelphia Mint) $1 Seated Liberty silver dollar graded Extremely Fine 40 (XF-40) by NGC. This piece displays an original gun metal grey silver color/tone with some dark blue/purple hues, some weakness in the 'BE' in 'LIBERTY', minor rim nicks at the 4 and 6 o'clock position on the reverse and very nice visible details with overall excellent eye appeal.
