For your consideration is an Antique 1903/1904 Dated Atkin Brothers Sheffield England Sterling Silver 13 Piece Set Of Demitasse Spoons & Sugar Tongs in very good to excellent pre-owned condition. These spoons attributed to the Sheffield, England silversmithing firm Atkin Brothers features a twisted cable design on the neck and a standing priest or monk at the end of the handle. Ten of the spoons in this set are hallmarked with the date letter 'm' indicating the date of manufacture was 1904. One spoon and the sugar tongs are hallmarked with the date letter 'I' indicating the date of manufacture was 1903. One spoon is not hallmarked and may be an old repair. The set comes in it's original wooden and black leather/gold trim lined box with a red velvet and silk interior. The spoons show light to average surface wear. The box is in overall good to very good condition with the leather showing some signs of crackling//separating.
