For your consideration is a pair of Antique Victorian Gorham Pattern # 776 .925 Sterling Silver Scallop Shell Sugar Or Tea Scissor Tongs in very good to excellent pre-owned condition. These sugar tongs feature a rococo (C) scroll design, scallop shell clamp and center chrysanthemum design crafted in fine sterling silver. The inside of the clamps are stamped sterling and Gorham's hallmark from the last quarter of the 19th century. The inside of the extender is also marked 776 that are indicative of the pattern number. The scissor tongs show off an original patina, some light wear and beautiful, ornate details.
