Product Description

For your consideration is an Antique 19th Century Signed Miyamoto Shoko Tokyo Japan .925 Sterling Silver Vase in excellent pre-owned condition. This intricate three part design by Miyamoto Shoko features a horizontal textured line pattern at the top portion, beautiful hand engraved vine motifs in the center portion and a hand chased textured design on the bottom. Two small handles protrude from either side of the opening. The main vase body has an egg shape design juxtaposed to the base and opening that stretch outward. Condition is near excellent, with no notable wear on the outer design. The top of the vase as well as the handles and bottom do have small nicks/scratches from typical shelf wear. The base has a file mark near the outer edge that is not visible whilst the vase is on standing a flat surface. We have kept the vase as is with it's original patina. The vase measures approximately 6 3/8 inches in height, 13 3/4 inches in circumference at it's widest point and 3 inches in diameter at the opening that does not include the outer edges. Appropriate hallmarks appear on the bottom of the vase. Weighs a total of 330 grams. Please view our photos for additional information.
