For your consideration is an Antique Patent 1874 Japanese Pattern By The Whiting Manufacturing Company .925 Sterling Silver Dinner Fork in good to very good pre-owned condition. This fork feature's the Whiting Manufacturing Company's 1874 Japanese Pattern crafted in fine sterling silver. The Japanese pattern designed by Charles Osborne was a series of designs featuring Japan's native Paradise Flycatcher bird in different poses. This pose has the bird tilted to it's right (your left). The fork shows light to average surface wear, nice visible details on the pattern, worn polished finish and is monogrammed 'E.R.' on the backside of the handle.
