For your consideration is an antique 1848 Aaron Hadfield Sheffield England Sterling Silver 2 Piece Pierced Fish Serving Set in good to very good pre-owned condition. This two piece fish serving set by the English silversmithing firm of Aaron Hadfield features (1) four tined fork and (1) knife with pierced centers and hand engraved details that are crafted in fine sterling silver. Each utensil shows average surface wear with an original worn polished finish, small surface dents/nicks in the handles, small dent at the end of the handle on the fork and gorgeous and engraved details. This serving set will come with it's original embossed brown leather lined wooden box with a silk and blue velvet interior and sterling silver monogrammed plaque on the exterior. The box shows shelf wear, missing bits of leather in some areas with exposed wood, old glue job on one corner and the latch works correctly.
