Michele Turbina watches have become famous for their exceptional build quality and stylish contemporary interpretations. Their family owned business continues to impress with this fabulous watch made with diamonds and stainless steel.

Origins

Initially, Michele Turbina manufactured colorful watches which were marketed towards children, but eventually the brand would expand to include adults, especially females. The brand’s name is taken from founder Jack Barouh’s daughter, and their company has become synonymous with craftsmanship. Though closely associated with Latin America, the brand would make its presence felt in the USA when their collection appeared in Miami.

By 2002 the blossoming success of the company caught the attention of Fossil, which is a household name in the watch business, who was so impressed with Michele that they offered them a deal worth fifty million dollars. This involved Fossil buying Tempus International Corp, who is the marketer, distributor and manufacturer for Michele timepieces.

Aside from Miami, they have offices in multiple international destinations such as Geneva in Switzerland. Michele watches can be purchased online via specialty retailers as well as department stores and regional jewelers. By 2016 Michele was listed as one of the most successful women’s watches, having competed with and in some cases surpasses manufacturers who had been in existence for over a century.

Design Highlights

One of the most popular Michele collections is Deco, which consists of watches that display a unique rectangular face that has bands which are interchangeable, along with multiple case options which range from ceramic to gold plate, diamond accents and stainless steel. Another popular collection is Serein, which is more traditional with a look that is very feminine and seductive. Serein watches display a face which is circular along with Roman numerals which incorporate bands that are customizable, with the option of stainless steel or leather.

The Michele Belmore collection took the watch industry by storm due to its casual style and circular watch faces that utilized 3 crowns in the right case side. Diamonds can be seen along its case borders and as with the other collections; the watch straps are completely interchangeable. For those that are looking for a more street look, the Michele Urban collection is highly recommended, as the watches use a rectangular face that is rounded with contemporary numbered fonts which extend around the dials. They have a miniature size which makes them perfect for ladies with small and delicate wrists.

Features

This Michele Turbina watch uses forty millimeter stainless steel with diamond quartz and is in outstanding condition. Previously owned, the watch case features a tonneau style with a dial that is white in color with dark numerals. The chronograph subbed dials along with the date have been fixed within a six o’clock position, and there are lots of diamonds that have been paved set individually. They come to a total of 1.81 carats, and the watch still has the original dark silicone strap that features a doubled folded clasp with the push button. The quartz movement is Swiss made with a lovely polished finish.
